Welcome to Nomadic Narratives
I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love! Creating and holding sacred space for others who are exploring or wanting to deepen their spirituality makes my heart sing. . .
I have lived in Tucson since 2004 and love this city more each day. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, horseback riding and cycling. This is the perfect place to live if you enjoy the outdoors.
My background has been a mix of ministry, behavioral health direct service and administration and chaplaincy. I am ordained with the United Church of Christ (UCC, 1998) and am a member associate with the Unitarian Universalist Association. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC). My LPC is an Ohio license (currently inactive) and therefore I do not provide counseling services in Arizona (please see my About Spiritual Companionship/Direction page and read about the differences between therapy and spiritual companioning/direction).
Of all the many roles I have had, my most recent experience as a hospice chaplain has been the most influential in leading me toward a spiritual companioning private practice. My approach to theology is narrative and it was through my work as chaplain that I fell in love with the beauty of sacred storytelling and holy listening.
With over 30 years of experience, I bring a unique blend of wisdom, compassion, and intuition to my work. I have a deep appreciation for various spiritual traditions and practices.
Together, we'll embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth. I'll support you as you tap into your inner wisdom, connect with your spirituality, and find peace, clarity, and meaning in your life.
